JERUDONG No.10
Striker
we haven’t used him as much as you’d have expected, so the management team clearly don’t think he’s as good as this forum does. Weird one.

I doubt it.No, but they may have only just discovered Liverpool are in for him.
My simplistic understanding is that options often still require player consent, obligations are permanent transfers agreed up front but with a loan to defer the paymentIf that were true then the value of this loan arrangement is at least the value we've agreed to sign him for. He's effectively our player in that scenario.
He’s our player until the end of the season. Whatever happens over the next day or two, we’ve agreed to it.I’m fairly sure that clubs can’t recall a player from a loan if there’s an optional price agreed.
Hope so imagine if we bought him for 20 mill he has to be worth more than that. Busy 24 hours coming.Do we not have an option to buy though? Surely we could just trigger that and then they’d have to pay the price we want?
I agree, but this is Liverpool. If it was Brentford or someone I’d have a different opinion. You need a squad in this league; not just 13 players you rely on. Gertrude would be perfect for this situation.

We did it with Wilson. Made his season long loan permanent in January, presumably to ward off suitors after his stellar first half of the season performances. I thought we should have been doing the same with Geertruida IMO, he warranted it.How do you know the option to buy could be brought forward to January and, more importantly, they aint buying him if he knew of Liverpools interest and wanted to move there which is highly likely.
And will get compensated if he does go.He’s our player until the end of the season. Whatever happens over the next day or two, we’ve agreed to.
Who would you have sitting deep? I was hoping for Le Fee on the left and Geertruida CDMSadiki, diarra, le fee
Perhaps he’s unhappy at not being a 1st choice starter. I’d imagine we sold him something like that to get him in in the first place. If that’s the case his agent will have been touting him around. The opportunity was brought to Liverpool is an interesting line, is Geertruida pushing it?
Sounds like we hold all the cards here. He’ll only go if we get a replacementHe’s our player until the end of the season. Whatever happens over the next day or two, we’ve agreed to.
OK then but your wrong, we played poorly a few times where he could of been brought on and wasn't. He also has done well when brought on and dropped straight to the bench again, so from his perspective what has he got to do. RLB played Rigg and he was awful, played Hume and awful, if he can't get on at West ham it aint happening. Why would he want to stay where he is obviously not wanted. He shouldn’t have had more game time, the players ahead of him have been outstanding, if he can’t knuckle down and fight for his place it says something about his character, see you later lad we just need to get a replacement , more to cover midfield than his preferred position
Because hes quality player and we will lose him and be weaker for it. Its undoubtedly a blow
