Where will we finish?

I'm a bit concerned the way we are going down the table and even if we beat Burnley we'll probably be stuck in the same place. I think we'll finish 19th.
Ok then all results will go for us and we'll be sixth? come Monday night.
This is a ridiculous post.

Beat Burnley and back into top half. Lose to Arsenal back down again. But after Arsenal we will have played the top two twice so some winnable games will come. So split the difference and say 10th.

5th and win the cup

Still believe top half , we have been fantastic at home & refuse to give up the fight, too many top quality players will want that in our squad also & I need it for my bet to come in😁
Mine too... ;)

Always reckoned that AFCON would cost us several places in the table, so 11th is better than I feared.

Feb/Mar/Apr should see us gradually rise up again given our superb back 5 & MF + Brobbey finding his feet.

Top half finish come May. KTF.

I'll go for 12th, think we could do with beating Burnley to get some momentum going.

If you want to compare with other sides who have been promoted in recent years and stopped up, Brighton came up in 2017 (just after our relegation under Moyes). They finished 15th, 17th, 15th and 16th. Then 9th, 6th, 11th and 8th.
Brentford (promoted 2021) were 13th, 9th, 16th and 10th. Bournemouth (promoted 2022) were 15th, 12th and 9th (though they had just spent 2 seasons back in Champ after an earlier 3 season stay in PL). Forest (promoted 2022) were 16th, 17th and 7th. And Fulham (also promoted in 22) were 10th, 13th and 11th, though in earlier years they were twice relegated after one season. So even finishing say, 15th, isn't a disaster, as long as we continue to recruit and build as we have been doing.

If we beat Burnley then we will have hit the number of points I'd dreamed of before the season began..hoping that 36 would scrape us to safety.

Everything else is gravy.

So.48. Four more wins, three more draws. Given how close the table is, that could be 15th to eighth. So split it and call it 12th
