Xhaka’s parents are ethnic Albanians from Kosovo.
His father, Ragip Xhaka, was a political prisoner in the former Yugoslavia before the family emigrated from Kosovo to Basel, Switzerland, in 1990.
Although born in Switzerland and a Swiss international, Granit holds strong ties to his Albanian heritage.

Seems doubtful to me that he will be back next game if hes seemingly going there to see family or whatever. Few 'itks' are talking about 6-8 weeks aswell. Club talking about a period of rehabilitation
