Rory Gallagher - Calling Card, new documentary

Very much doubt it's '63,Taste didn't start 'til the late '60's
I'm just going by the image and date details from the official Rory Gallagher twitter page which is operated by his estate.

After a little research, the official twitter page is not clear.

It seems that Rory was performing in the Fontana showband in December 1963 but clearly the image is from much later.

Apologies for misleading you all. Some simple sums would have sufficed but maths has never been my strong point.

Still a good image though.

Live in Europe

I knew they'd have Irish Tour and Deuce top. I nearly did a guess their list list.

I got in huge trouble at school for reading that for the annual poetry reading competition.

The other competitors dressed up as pearly Kings and slapped their thighs raucously and so on... I would have read Ozymandias as was the tradition in my family in this stupid competition but they banned me from doing it... so I read Limbo and got absolutely dragged for it 🤣

Fking philistines
