Banging on the back row….

I've always enjoyed it, I like hearing it on TV as well
You don't hear it at the game unless right next to it. But it's ridiculously loud on TV.

Thread title needs changing as people are thinking it's when people are banging during chants etc.

It's just the knackers braying on the new (relarively speaking) metal material under the boxes during goals.
Attention seeking. Nowt else. Sounds absolutely shite as well.
Aye, it's lifting.
Can't say I've ever noticed it.
There you go Mullet lad. 2.54. Instead of the crowd all you can really hear is the banging shite. Like a 1st round fa cup sound you'd get when MoTD showed a giant killing at Yeovil.

It certainly became a thing as it’s like white noise to me at the match. However, when you watch highlights it’s expected but awful to hear
I have 100% never even noticed it happening when we score. Despite having been on this thread for ages laughing at people moaning. No idea how anyone even notices it other than on replays. Goal goes on and time stops, reality recedes and all there is is wild celebrations. Love it

At times during div 1 days the banging of the boards was what got a lot of chants going as the atmosphere of the 20k was subdued a lot and rightly so. It seems the Johnny come lately mob cant put up with the banging 🎣. I say bang it harder to those in the boxes. Its like having a drum. It also was used to get the Amad chants going back in the day. More noise the better!

I don't watch our games on TV, I watch them in the stadium. I have never noticed the banging whilst in the stadium

It sounds crap on the highlights.

If it's always happened, it's only been noticeable since after Lockdown - so either the microphones have been moved or some idiots moved seats and thought it would be a good idea.

But then when watching back, reliving those great moments..... shite.

Aye, it's on half way, where the mics are apparently.

It hasn't always happened. It's since they put in the metal materials where the boxes are.
What for? Why?
Only appeared a few games ago, and only lasts for 2/3 of a block
Was when the snow fell, for those who used to bomb about on alternatives to sledges.

People are on about on highlights etc watching back. Although tbf there is the odd poster who sit close to where it happens reckon it almost explodes their ears. For the majority it's not heard at games.

Is that where it is?
If it was happening next to me it would do my head in.

It sounds amateurish. Northern league standard.
Give the guy a friggin drum so at least he can generate a decent quality sound …. Yes it’s that bad I would rather have a drum.
Maybe give him an old fashioned rattle.

Alternatively put him in a straight suit
