That may be so, but if clubs want to expedite the process then they may have to pay.I assume federation is expected to return players so will cover costs.

Rigg, Mundle and Isidor need upgrading imoRoefs / Patterson
Hume / Mukiele
Alderete / Ballard / Geertruida / O’Nein
Reinildo / Cirkin
Xhaka / Sadiki / Diarra / Le Fee / Rigg
Traoré / Talbi / Adingra / Mundle
Brobbey / Isidor / Mayenda
Even without the likes of Neil, Masuaku, Hjelde, and Ta Bi, there’s a squad of 22 players all trusted by the club to do a good PL job (and several can easily cover multiple positions). Unless some of those leave, or there is an amazing / opportune deal that is too good to turn down, then I just don’t see us buying first team squad players for this season in January.
Now all the AFCON lads are back, I don’t see them getting many minutes (depending on how far we go in the cup). Rigg and Mundle are still developing, and should be better next season, so no need to upgrade now. Isidor will make some contributions if he gets the chance (just like he did at the start of the season), but is now behind both Brobbey and Mayenda. I don’t see us getting better as squad fillers than these 3 to be honest, and buying squad fillers in January is contrary to our strategy anyway. The only way we are bringing in players in January to replace the 3 you mention, is if we are bringing in first team players and the likes of Talbi / Traoré / Le Fee / Diarra / Brobbey are dropping to the bench (and I just don’t see us spending the money or having the need for that this January).Rigg, Mundle and Isidor need upgrading imo
Just do not think we should stand still. Isidor is not effective whatsoever. Rigg should be loaned and just do not think Mundle is at the level. Think we need better for the now. We're definitely not spending money to drop LeFee and Diarra to the bench or Brobbey the way hes improving .Now all the AFCON lads are back, I don’t see them getting many minutes (depending on how far we go in the cup). Damn rightIs this our next six games, won, off, won, won, won, won.
Joint top scorer for us, as effective as Brobbey then. Mundle had a good game against Everton and Palace, even with the AFCON lads back we still need options.Just do not think we should stand still. Bit silly to be suggesting Isidor is as effective as Brobbey like.Joint top scorer for us, as effective as Brobbey then. Mundle had a good game against Everton and Palace, even with the AFCON lads back we still need options.
They're different in how they play but pretty similar in the outcome so far, I don't believe Isidor is suddenly behind both Brobbey and Mayenda.Bit silly to be suggesting Isidor is as effective as Brobbey like.
Hes one i can see being moved on in the summer
Sick of hearing this nonsenseJust do not think we should stand still. Isidor is not effective whatsoever. Rigg should be loaned and just do not think Mundle is at the level. Think we need better for the now. A starting left winger would be great
RLB seemingly does. You quoted the same goals but Brobbey has played 200 less minutes. Amazingly, hes averaging nearly a goal every 2 games in terms of minutes. Hes by far our best forward. They're different in how they play but pretty similar in the outcome so far, I don't believe Isidor is suddenly behind both Brobbey and Mayenda.
Sorry, I disagree. Rigg is 18 years old and is being allowed to develop at his own pace (for comparison, Sadiki had played only a handful of games in the Belgian pro-league by the time he was Rigg’s current age). I just don’t get the constant desire to send him out on loan. He will get much, much more out of training with some top class players, being part of a PL squad, and getting the odd appearance off the bench, than he will getting bashed around the Championship for a few months. As for wide players…. We have Talbi & Traoré, with Adingra & Mundle as cover, whilst Le Fee, Mayenda & Rigg can all do a job there, and to be fair have all played an important part in getting us into the top half. With the exception of Traoré, they are all young players and we need to have the patience to develop them (not replace them after 10 games each) - this is how we continue to attract young talent (I.e. by giving them a chance, sticking with them, and developing them).Just do not think we should stand still. Isidor is not effective whatsoever. Rigg should be loaned and just do not think Mundle is at the level. Think we need better for the now. A starting left winger would be great
Couldn’t agree more. I think people have got used to seeing him around, and forget how young he is still. He’s already had 2 seasons developing in the Championship, and is already an established PL squad player in what has been a good PL team - at 18!! There have been very, very few players in PL history who could say the same.Sick of hearing this nonsense
Rigg is in the best place possible, he’s stilll developing physically and the last thing he needs is clogging around at lower level. He is training every day with Xhaka
Next season he will come good, very good
Been injured but still useful for hitting teams on the break with his pace when we are under the cosh, winning late in gamesRLB seemingly does. Isidor has done what he did last season and became totally ineffective. Its a strange one. Hopefully sorts himself out
Reading above im thinking we have Riggy,Isidor and Brobby on planes.Way too much sensible football talk on this like, who's on the planes today?!
Definitely. But hes obviously a bit out of favour currently.Been injured but still useful for hitting teams on the break with his pace when we are under the cosh, winning late in games
