Early Leavers - Again!

Pre fix of - In your opinion.

"Defending my actions" 😂😂😂

Let me assure you, whoever you are.
I dont defend my actions to noone.

"You have to get your head around"

You certainly do have the correct username mind. 😂😂😂😂
It will be everyone’s opinion.
You’re not surely arguing that someone who cares more about getting back to the car or pub a few minutes earlier , as are more bothered about that then seeing the last few minutes of a game that’s in the balance , when players and the manager go on about having a connection with the fans and it contributing to how we are performing at home , are passionate supporters ?

I’m not being funny, but I hope you’re ok, as on this thread you come over as irrational

Again. Insert 'In your opinion"

You are a complete stranger so your opinion is irrelevant.

Anyways. Must go. Ive got to wah my hair.

Honest answer mate, don't worry.
I will do my match day routine to suit me as I have for the last 41 years.... :)
Same here. I’d rather keep my criticism for those who stay at home watching a dodgy stream or the premier league new comers who will soon stop going if we ever get relegated again.
Personally we start to leave our seat when the last minute of ET approaches and time it to be at the concourse exit when whistle blows. A quick clap of players to show our support and off we trot.
If we didn’t it has took upto 20 minutes from back of south stand , then longer to walk back car along wessington way then the traffick is bumper to bumper getting back on A19.
Extra hour plus some just to please others
No thanks

On 90 yesterday we moved from back row ne corner to front row se corner, watching last 4 minutes as we moved.

Its a shame theres no rear exits in the bowl as staying seated can add 10 minutes least to your exit!

@Skylon we didnt leave honest mate 😉

Felt like the match was an inconvenience for some yesterday. Still streaming in after kick off and loads couldn't get away quick enough.

We're closing in on a big 3 points. First win in 6. Great performance.

I think it's pathetic from the fans.

You wouldn't leave the cinema or theatre.
I walked out early from the Blair witch project, it was shite I left early from a Nicolas Cage one as well, Longlegs, awful. He looked like Amanda Stavely in it

I left 4 minutes early as I had to get a bus home, get changed and head to a wedding party on the night.

I’ve handed my season card back into the club.

You're not the target demographic here though.

You had a time sensitive event to attend. We're on about the weird people who leave on 85 mins no matter what.

A massive issue is that if you leave even 1 minute early, it does get you home much quicker! Especially if you’re sitting in the N/NWC/NEC in the ground and need to be in the town.

The SOL shows its age with this as the exit (and entry) routes to the SOL are far too cramped. The turnstiles getting in yesterday were all queued at 2:50. There’s loads of space to put more turnstiles in too!

The exit routes by road from the city become packed very quickly after the game too.

I walked down the steps on 93:30 yesterday, and was home 10/15 minutes earlier than I normally would be if I left at FT as I beat the traffic out of the city centre.

Club need to look into the exit points and how people can enter and leave the ground quicker to suit the supporters needs
One of the main problems for me is the stairs from upper bowl encroach into walkway which is bad enough but then you get people standing at the wall of the lower bowl causing a bottleneck for people coming down stairs and walking along path

This is more or less exactly what I do mate. Or as you say it adds on an extra 20 minutes.

I have in the past at times had to leave earlier through various reasons.

I dont understand why complete strangers are concerned over other people's match day routines.

If. People choose to leave early? Thats their right to choose to do that.

I do actually agree with a lot on here when a game is tight. Even i get surprised that people do get up and leave the actual ground early.

But. Thats their choice.
Each to their own.

A thing that annoys me is , the stairs from upper bowl go into walkway between bowls and you get people standing against the wall of lower bowls

The stairs next to me in the south stand are blocked from about 88 minutes onwards and don't start to clear until about 10 minutes after the final whistle. People just go and stand there with no intention of leaving.

Yes but why?

Saying "people will leave when they want" doesn’t address peoples reason for doing so assuming they don't have an actual reason, like having somewhere else they need to be.

You dont need to know why.

I have left early myself in the past.
And my reason I have left early has nothing at all to do with you.
