Jocelin Ta Bi

Teams don’t have 2 strikers trying to get on crosses and people filling the box , they keep possession and work the ball into the box now until something opens up

Gordon Bowen and Martinelli have 1 assist between them but aye they cross the ball mate

Murphy does a bit got one assist all season
Nice pullback from the byline for City’s second there. 😉
Eh none of them cross the ball what so ever all play on their wrong foot and come infield towards goal not one of them is known because of their crossong
Both Citys goals came from the byline tonight. Even the disallowed one was a corner.

Ostensibly, the reason for this were unsatisfactory results from his medical. Ta Bi, it was claimed, is injured and requires surgery, which would naturally sideline him for some time.

My take is there’s two possibilities then based off this report:

1. It’s true, in which case I doubt we’ll be taking a risk on this unless he’s so good it’ll be worth it. Which I doubt.

2. Celtic are making excuses for not signing him due to him coming from an Israeli club.

No one is saying they have to be known for their crossing or it to be their only strength. I and others are saying they do it.

I literally explained in my previous post. I even gave instances of the likes of Sancho and even Madueke this season who have adopted a more traditional style.

Your argument is that weak you have to try and drag it back to the individuals assists.

Have you actually watched how direct say City have become this season and the reason for them more relying on set pieces (their size) and Haaland so much? Sure they can play the moving the ball around the box as well as almost anyone, but they also use pace, directness etc more than at anytime in the last ten years - hence buying the likes of Semenyo.

There are so many teams now playing on transition like Newcastle, Forest, Palace, us, Brentford as well. Leeds also cross loads to pick up bits from DCL.

It's not all from the byline of course, but that's not what anyone is saying. Its you who is categorically saying no one goes to the byline - when there are clear instances of it this season.
