Michael Carrick

nothings certain in football, who do you think they should have got as a 4 month stop gap instead ?
True but Carrick as caretaker is them writing the season off, which given the table makes little sense. If I was going to sack Amorim I would have been looking to bring in a coach who in theory would push the team on.

I know there are bigger issues at Man Utd than the coach but I'm not Carrick followed by another summer reset attempt is the best way forward.

No one knows anything tho, they might already have a manager lined up who’s available in the summer, they’ve taken this route for whatever reason suits them and with that I don’t see what wrong with appointing carrick.

I think Carrick is a good choice. He did OK at Boro but maybe wasn't backed as he should have been. He's a bright, confident lad who will get respect at Man Utd. He could turn out to be a really good appointment.
