10 Trenches Deep

Go on son! Absolutely schooled the bell end!

Do you seriously think if PSG wanted to win the the club World Cup, they’d have gotten beaten off them? Arsehole.

I was thinking this the other day. At the start of the season 7 seemed a lot, but when you go one by one you’re right. It’s Reinildo and Sadiki being losses from the XI - Sadiki more than Reinildo - given we’ve got so many good options at the back. Then probably Talbi next but he’s not a starter

Our quality and depth will take a hit, but worries about losing half an XI aren’t coming to fruition
“ then probably Talbi next but he’s not a starter”. He isn’t but he’s a finisher. RLB places as much emphasis on them as the starting 11 whoever they are.

Yeah, 100%. On the face of it, at this moment in time, they are the ones we will certainly miss. They are the ones who are on the pitch/get on the pitch often. At the start of the season before a game has been played we all probably thought all the AFCON lads would be starters, or at least a large proportion, so it would be a struggle. Now that it hasn't been the case and we've had positive results it doesn't seem like it will be such of a loss. It might turn out that Sadiki is so crucial to our team that one player happens to be a bigger miss that it seems like more players are missing but time will tell.

Le Bris will have a plan!

Sadiki and Xhaka out at same time would be pretty catastrophic…..given Diarras injury … that would be first choice midfield out.
We couldn’t carry that off.
Likes of Gertrudda would do a solid job if alongside one of the others above , but I don’t think we could hold our own with any other combination
Hence we are very vulnerable in there

Sadiki and Xhaka will continue to play normally until one of them gets booked. Then the other one will play the rest of that game as if he is on a booking, ie with the utmost care. ;)

Where abouts is the Sky Sports studio bud ?
Near Brentford, between Richmond and Ealing in London.

@10 Trenches Deep absolutely schooling Hasslebaink

Great to see you getting the platform you deserve to show what we've all been lucky enough to witness over the last few years mate!
Very kind. I probably went too far, but I can't see Marescs winning the league.

Look to be in a minority here but I don’t agree with the great man

Maresca could be doing better, maybe, but they’re 3rd in the league which is a good place for Chelsea.

Sure we did them over, and I did think RLB beat Maresca that day tactically, but I don’t think that’s what’s happening to them every week

I agree with you, he's not doing a bad job. The whole conversation is that he claimed Chelsea are inconsistent because the squad is young and they need several years to grow before they can do anything. I said that's an excuse and that their inconsistency was because Maresca can't break some teams down and that won't change with age. He's the problem in those games not the young players.

I did go overboard though.
Of course I can still be quite wrong. It's all just opinions and plety of you all know more than me.

I think their squad size actually hinders them. Maresca seems to have too many options, and often lads are in/out of a first 11 that still feels thrown together. I'm not even sure the most dedicated Chelsea fan could tell you this weekends starting 11.

A scattergun approach of buying some real talent and then coming up with a plan on how to play, when it's usually done the other way around.

Thats why i would have liked to have seen Sadiki get booked on purpose in added time against Arsenal. I'm not keen at all on leaving it to chance, could be disastrous given some of the games coming up as well.

It’s great that teams who have spent hundreds of millions at transfer window after transfer window can be beaten by a side that has had one window !Gives everyone hope -should be a complete mis match but with clever investment and a tactically astute manager we have a chance
Great to see it’s not all about the money

Oh, I don't know. No point in "what if this" or "supposing that..."
Let the chips fall as they may, take any knocks on the chin, and play with the same attitude we have been.

You’re only still allowed 11 on the field. That gives us a chance.

Just been watching the top man littering Fulham in some sort of content super group on the latest @Bamber video

Our lot in good voice. But did Fulham fans even celebrate their goal?
