This did cross my mind. Other than the International, the only times it was open last season was the Yorkshire T20 game and the one where a small section was opened to accommodate the declining turnout of students.

By who? No one lives next to it. There's no businesses around it. The club want it and the area desperately needs a good quality hotel.

That was the only home game last season I missed - a wise decision considering the performance on the night.

I think that having members apply for a reserved seat in the bowl is a piss take. Like most members that attend regularly we look the day before which pitch is being used then choose our seats accordingly. That should be an option to those that are prepared to stump up the cash early

So, me and my son have memberships and for the Yorkshire match we are going to be allocated a seat? Seems rather pointless tbh
