Luke O'Nien

Click bait surely. That garbage could have been written about any of our players who’ve yet to feature strongly this season. Luke is a match day team player with his own unique position. Shithousing on the touchline.
Not sure the club see it that way. Think he'll go if a decent enough offer comes in

If he's the character we know he is he'd want to play football
Might be happy to enjoy the ride until the end of the season, getting on the bench, cup games if we progress and being around the place.

But you would think in the summer he probably will move on to play. I’m sure it will be his decision though an the club won’t put any pressure on him this month if offers come in.

The same club who extended his contract barely 6 months ago?
Yep, who knows what the thinking was at the time. Maybe they thought he'd have a bigger role to play, or maybe it was a reward for longevity. I can't see him wanting to sit out on the bench for the remainder of his contract either tbh

From the home grown perspective I can’t see it happening. That needs addressing btw. We need 8 I think?

Patto - linked move away
Cirkin - 6 months left
Neil - 6 months left
O’Nien - linked move away
Mundle
Ballard
Rigg
Alese

What do we do if the top 4 leave?

Simon Moore etc
None of those clubs will offer him PL money. Hes not getting any younger so I think he will stick around.
He's only 31 he will want to play football

If he wants a loan to get some football I don’t blame him and he would go with my blessing though it certainly looks that RLB values him in the squad. Footballers have a short career and training without competitive games must be depressing. So saying we have lots of surplus I’d like to see out the door well before Luke.
