10 goals in 13 league games in Portugal this season and West Ham paid £22m for him.
Last season he was on loan at Gil Vicente, scored 5 goals in 20 games and Gil Vicente decided to sign him permanently this summer (6 months ago) for £250k...
I've never seen him before so can't judge his ability, but it reeks of utter desperation. I don't understand how you can't tempt Gil Vicente to sell for any less than a 10,000% profit in 6 months. Their previous record sale was £7m.
& the managers ain't much better...Look at Gyokeres.... can't score for toffee and he has a goal a game in that league
Ha’way the Tatey
I swear he is a money laundering scam.Adama Traore too to create things for them. Really not convincing from them so far like
Someone short of minutes who wants to make a world cup squadI think the way forward in jan is rather than getting your pants pulled down is loan in someone who has fallen out of favour after a big move.. Like what happened with ELF.. Try before you buy
That fucka has the best job in the worldAdama Traore too to create things for them. Really not convincing from them so far like
Apparently Liverpool looked at him last year but thought he took too long to have a shot so opted against signing him.Look at Gyokeres.... can't score for toffee and he has a goal a game in that league
Aye, few comments about desperation... because that's exactly what it is.I don’t really get the comments on this thread
They have to try something or they are going down
They've had to get a striker or two in for the it's the last roll of the dice for them as they barely have a foward in the first team squad.
If anything, it shows you just how important it is to get recruitment right in the summer as January can be a minefield of unwanted/unproven punts due to clubs being unwilling to sell their best players halfway through the season.
So not only do we need to worry about other clubs snatching our recruitment team, they’re after our message board scouts as well! It's literally less than a week since I was recommending on here that we sign that lad.

They aren't beyond staying up - there's been teams further adrift that have managed it in last 20 seasons a few times.Yep exactly this
They can’t just think “well we should have done this in the summer” they just have to get on with it and get who they can
I don’t think they will But if West Ham found form the league would become very very interesting
