Thats s big question. Also will he be happy to play backup to reinildo, when he could have the same role back at spurs with inflated wages. This will give him the confidence that he isnt out of place in the Premier league, and might actually push a move closer in reality as I can't see him displacing reinildo. Thats not a dig at cirkin, reinildo is just that good
It’s also worth noting that Reinildo is 32 in a few weeks and Cirkin is still only 23.

I’d say Cirkin is certainly worth a decent contract as it’s likely Reinildo will need rests every now and again.

There needs to be a succession plan for Reinildo and Xhaka as a priority. I think cirkin has the potential to be the answer at left back

I said on Sunday he had a good first half but looked tired in the second. First game back, injury and step up a level, very tough to come in and start.

Looks like a tough game is what he needed though cause tonight he was fitter, sharper and wanted it. He's got a window to shine so he needs to take it, so far he is.

I would hope we could keep cirkin. Knows the club inside out, and has earned his chance.

That said, reinildo could be 40 and if this season was what we were going off, I couldnt imagine him slowing down anytime soon. The man just has a crazy energy about him. I can see him playing the role comfortably for another few years, injuries permitting.
