Brennan Johnson (signed for Palace)

Talbi is 4 years younger. When Johnson was the same age, he'd just done a season in league one on loan at Lincoln...
 
He was never going to uproot his life and move 250 miles north when he can just move 20ish miles across London. No house move, London is a brilliant place to live if you’re a multi-millionaire.

It is very exciting to know we’re willing to spend £30m+ on a player though, and hopefully we have other targets. I do think there’s a better player out there than Johnson for that money mind.

If missing out on players has taught us anything over the last couple of seasons is that they end up being bad signings for other teams and the signings we make instead are much better.
 
No brainer for him to go to Palace. They are the FA Cup holders! They do have a talented team just going through a bad spell. He will play against us in a couple of weeks so we will see what 35 million gets you. We were in the conversation so thats great news. Onwards and upwards for the transfer express!

Aye suppose you are right, don’t know if speakers took the your move brochure down but some lovely 3 bed semis coming up down Hendon to buy or some 2 bedders to rent off gentoo. Coastal view some of them.
I don’t suppose he has to say how much everytime he buys a round and worrying if he’s getting declined on contactless.

It’s promising if we identify a player we are prepared to go for it. I wonder if that signing spelled the end for anyone in particular
