Keel Crossing [opened 18.10.25] - compendium thread

Think its a bit of maintenance liability in terms. Graffiti, flooding and the steps are a hazard

I usually use the ramp cos I'm on the bike but those stairs are a bit steep from memory.

The only way you can defeat graffiti is to clear it as soon as it goes on. They'll soon get fed up.

Do you think people are going to start including the sheepfolds as part of their town route cos there’s a bridge there now?
The only realistic scenario I can envisage would be to start there, maybe to get some food, then cross the bridge to start the town route. We’d just get a taxi to do that if there was no bridge so it might save a coupon for quid, but that’s probably offset by the extortionate drink prices in the stables. It’s not like you’re going for a few cheap ones to start the night off is it?
Most people would prefer something nice over being cheap enough to be able to cram in more

I have been thinking about altering my place to park for a match for the second time. I am thinking about moving away from Tesco and go to the St. Mary's Multi-Storey and cross Keel Crossing.

How practical would this be especially in terms of timings?

I know they’ve closed st Mary’s way today for obvious reasons. But does anyone know why the council sporadically close lanes off from time to time? Every couple of weeks the cones go up to close off lanes, with no obvious building work going on
