Abdul Fatawu - continuing news

"Abdul Fatawu makes request of Leicester City supporters as he questions early leavers

The winger has written an appeal to fans following the 2-1 defeat to Preston, with the travelling support booing their own team and chanting disparagingly about their performance.

Chants in the first half were critical of the players’ performance, while there were boos at full-time.

Fatawu felt some fans left the game early, when the team were trailing 1-0, and in a social media post he said the team “need more” from the supporters in difficult moments like at Deepdale.

The winger wrote on Instagram: “So disappointed about the game yesterday. But as we say and believe that Foxes never quit, then is too early at this stage of the season seeing fans leave the stadium so early when we are down by one."

It's a resounding no from all those who leave on 80 minutes to beat the traffic!!
Definitely a lot less this season mind. Noticeably less.

If we're not going to get any value from the sale of Neil and Cirkin in January then surely a swap would benefit both clubs.
We've got a handful of players who would transform Leicester's season. Fatawu wouldn't transform ours but it feels like he'd be an upgrade.

They would want more than we can offer in exchange
