Calvert-Lewin (discussion on transfer)

He was impressive yesterday and fair play to Leeds for taking the chance with him and his injury record.

Unlike us Leeds were actually playing off him and anticipating his hold up/knock downs and getting runners going past him whereas we just stood off brobbey by about 20 yards.

He’s always been a decent player when he’s fit, bit strong, mobile and can finish, the problem Leeds have is can he stay fit long enough and if his goals dry up or he gets injured where do they get the goals from?

every knockdown he made went to a Leeds player, miles better than Brobby unfortunately. I wouldnt have touched him with a bargepole in the Summer mind, however as it turned out he would easily have been our best forward

He'd be out for the season if we'd had taken a chance on him 😆

Leeds took a big gamble and it's paying off so far, but if he does get a knock, then they're straight back in the shit given how important he's become to this new formation and their run of good results. Will he be able to last the rest of the season?

Can we get the allergy tablets …?
Credit to him hes hit an unbelievable bit of form. Perhaps the break from Everton was needed. Still wouldnt have touched him at the or after his initial start to the season. Good luck to him and hope for his sake hes over all the injury troubles

The trouble is Brobby was so isolated , at least DCL had players around him

We need people to get closer to Brobby
This. Plus Brobbey himself needs to be more alert to the cross.
And we need to get more players in the box, although that can be risky
