The SMB 2026 Holiday Thread

Just booked a week in Los Cris for April

Looking at options for a long weekend somewhere warm in late Feb.

No idea about the rest of the year yet. Maybe Vietnam in the autumn.
Just back from LC yesterday, back over again in Feb and April with Costa Adeje in Aug. Looking at Lanzarote (PDC) next Xmas or New Year as prices are way lower than Tenerife.

I love Tenerife and I'm there at least once a year. Never been there for Christmas though as the prices at this time of year are insane.

I was in PDC old town last summer for a change and I wasn't so keen. Maybe it's cheaper for a reason.

Quite fancy Croatian islands. Summer holidays for a family of 4 incl 2 9 year olds by then if anyone has any recommendations for good hotels

That or Rhodes

Spent the morning looking at options for a week in late June/early July while trying to avoid flights which clash with WC matches.

Looking for a holiday in March long haul .

After my post on here about Goa it looks like I’ve ruled that out .

In March looking for about 9 nights away from scratters , ideally a direct flight from London . Nothing under 25c .

Come on do your best please 🙏

Andalusia in April for a week, consisting of staying in Malaga for 3 nights, Granada 2 nights, Torremolinos 2 nights. Booked ourselves, flights and lodgings about £440 each, me and the missus. Taxi and train fares extra.

Pula is lovely mate

We stopped here a few times when the kids were younger- any more than a week now and you'd struggle though with 9 year olds, great restaurants, umag is tiny but lovely, catamaran to Venice etc

Villa in Puerta Pollensa in August. Could do with something in April/May but funds may not permit. ☹️
Everythings more expensive this year mind - we've skiing in Feb and Corfu in August booked and they're both more expensive than last year

Just booked Madrid with my mate and the 2 boys for our annual footy trip which ain't cheap eaither

Actually, I've always found Madrid reasonable for a big capital city. Public transport is excellent so you can save a bit of money by staying away from the centre.

NY on Monday for the youngest’s 21st

Nashville and NY end of Feb with the eldest.

Wouldn’t ordinarily gan back to the US so soon, but had to use up some holidays that I carried over from work before March, and the eldest gets some ridiculous hotel rates that made 7 nights over there, cheaper than the equivalent in London or Edinburgh
