what i would say is, they probably wouldn't be posting all this abhorrent stuff about isak/us/chelsea/refs/var if we hadn't beaten them. So in a way, to see them behaving disgustingly makes me happy to realise how absolutely furious they must be. A happy person wouldn't go on the way they do on twitter, no matter how clever and "buzzing" they come across as. Just remember that. They may think they're being funny and humorous, but deep down they're absolutely gutted about where they are in life, and where their beloved newcastle united are.

And then have a wee smile.

They were hoping for him to suffer a serious injury in the summer, the Derby wont have helped but they've always been vicious bastards.

yeah that in the summer was brilliant, i'm sure sesko threw away millions of pounds or something to not have to play for them.

And then the mags are laughing at the likes of him, and isak, at their misfortunes. Completely forgetting that it doesn't matter how shite, or otherwise, they turn out to be, isak especially, they still don't play for them. And isak has royally fucked them, and set them back god knows how long. Not just his football ability, but the message it sends to other players who might have joined, and also those still there being unrested. It was the best thing that could've happened to them. And newcastle contributed to it massively by trying to keep him. Absolute amateurs.

I can understand the karma involved and the player doesn't exactly come across as a great human being, but celebrating a serious injury is way out of line.

I can remember Kevin Keegan getting huge abuse from Dipper fans when he went to Hamburg in 1977 for a massive amount of money at the time. He said many of those Liverpool supporters if offered a better job with more money and challenge would gladly leave their city to take it, or emigrate. Yet they called him a traitor. That sort of response hasn't changed. Clubs ditch players past their prime or under performing without a thought, so it works both ways.
 
Not since Liverpool sold Torres to Chelsea for £50m have a club had their pants pulled down like this.

Most Newcastle fans were pissed off at the way he left.... but ( I'd say) the majority (.. me included) would be sad to see that he's had a serious (potentially career threatening) injury.

But we haven't done a poll ... so we'll never really know.

People say a lot of daft things in anger or against rivals.

I regularly read comments on here wishing injury on to NUFC players.

Take it with a large pinch of salt 🧂

From a club point of view absolutely. Make no mistake the fans are still hurting he's gone. It blew their ego out of the water. Bigger club wanted him. Bigger club came and took him.
