Hartlepool United

Orange Tree pub in Braintree full of Poolies in their Christmas Jumpers....Thought it was last game of the Season Fancy Dress for a moment.

Ha'way the Lads and Up the Pools
Pretty poor away day is Braintree, and a really crap pitch as well.

You are not wrong.... Highlight of the first half was seeing Jeff Stelling!!

Pools started off ok then spent the half passing sideways ..Only Reid up top and the number 4 has him in his pocket

Seen him at Aldershot when we've played you, always comes across as a decent fella 👍

did Scunthorpe build a new ground? I think it’s one of the ones where I’ve only been to the old ground (we lost 2-1 in the cup I seem to remember). Not that it would count towards the 92 anyway now.
Moved to Glanford Park in the late 80's . Went there in 2003 when Pools were top towards the end of season.Got battered 4-0 but still got promoted.Tommy Widdrington dad to Kai the Strictly dancer was the only one to acknowledge the fans at the end

It's been a while since I've been to a home game but as my youngest grandson has never been to a match, we're going to take him today. Hope it doesn't put him off football for life.

It will be interesting to see if Robert Plant is there as he said he would in a recent podcast mentioned in post #3019.

I was there in 2006 during the awful Martin Scott era. Lost 2-0.
