Australia v England, 3rd Test, 16th December , 23.30

Big moment of this game was Head on 99. Pressure had built up, an opportunity was coming and it came. And we didn’t take it. Zapped the confidence and belief and they went on to make the total pretty much unreachable.

The difference in the catching has been absolutely night and day.

we've given too many wickets are too cheaply too... we'd have won this test if we had proper test match mentality.

We have, but if you do that, the other aspects of the game have to be sharp. The catching has been abysmal. Australia haven’t batted particularly well this season but their bowling and especially their fielding (Carey and Labuschagne in particular) has been world class. Ours has been average county standard

Let the post mortem commence.

Can’t bat, can’t bowl, can’t field. When the closest test is an 88 run loss, it speaks volumes as to how uncompetitive this series has been. Other countries have travelled to Australia and lost but they’ve bloodied their noses at some point. We’ve barely even tickled their feet.

Arrogant, ill disciplined, ill prepared and cult like. Time for home truths not patronising nonsense.

Too little too late.

The hope is this day five performance doesn’t paper over any cracks.

We’ve been absolutely crap in all areas. We’ve been embarrassed. They’ve banged on and on about being the saviours of test cricket because of this shite mental bazball attitude where brains in test match cricket goes out of the window. This is the worst Ashes tour in my lifetime and the tragic thing is we have players who are good enough. The whole thing has been madness.
