Don’t even have to “dig in” just find a way to score runs. If that’s digging in. If that’s attacking. A balance ideally. Like. It’s your job to score runs and find a way to score runs according to the situation. Yesterday, they all did neither and meekly surrendered.

See, Stokes knew it was the wrong shot to the ball but with the deviation he could have ended up LBW or bowled trying to defend it, he just would have had a better chance to survive it
