This just goes to show how bad our bowling was mind. Brydon f***ing Carse in an ashes test😂😂😂
It’s mad what a bit of momentum can do though. The ball/pitch was doing absolutely fuck all and it looked relatively easy for Crawley & Duckett

Crawley gets a Jaffa and then you see the huge problem with someone as shit as Pope at 3, it almost always leads to 2 falling. Then Duckett gets a cracking ball and it’s 3 down.

This shows the brilliance of a proper spinner though.

Root bottled it there he should of turned and called the keeper a cheat that would've made it interesting 😂😂

In his playing career, Quaife was usually listed as "W.G.Quaife" and Wisden lists him as "William George Quaife" He is my Great grandma brother...

Took far too long to be deciding there. It was almost like they really wanted to make it out.

Totally disregarding the clear and obvious error side of review. The keeper never even went up hard and then they go on like they’ve been called cheats. It just never looked out.

Looked good last test, think he just has a Starc and Spin problem.
But I'd rather him coming in first drop then Pope.

Just another 2 sessions for this pair to bat through lads and we will be back in the game.
 
Time for bed. I’ve no complaints with anything other than Pope really. He’s just a posh numb **** really.

Both openers got cracking deliveries. Will set an alarm for 5 and check the score.

I’d back Stokes to be able to last 50 deliveries far more than Pope.
