Prefix both statements with “In my opinion”- it’s a forum where people regularly state opinions and it would be very dull to require legal disclaimers before everything anyone said.“It’s their ticket so they can do what they want with it”
“People who’ve put the miles in during the lower league days have earned the right to do whatever they want with their ticket.”
My comments were mainly in response to the above factually incorrect statements. Any campaign would need to be developed with a logical, reasoned proposal why the system should be changed.

You - “Not sure that’s factually true. Can you show me the empirical evidence that proves that passing would have been a better option there?”
In actuality, the term and conditions of sale are largely ignored and unenforced so there is no requirement for them to be there. The established rule is you can do what you want with a ticket.
