Australia v England, 3rd Test, 16th December , 23.30

I understand the cheating accusations.. I don't think this like Smith and the sandpaper where it was done with forethought and with the plan on gaining an unfair advantage... Many batsman in the game often try there luck with a review despite even feeling guilty, he got lucky and it happens. Fair play to the company for admitting the balls up too.

From a match perspective.. England will be delighted with 8 down but Aussies have 320 on the board with an attack capable of defending what ever they post, we'll have to wait and see how the lads bat and hope they dig in..jacks leaked runs but he's not a frontline spinner in his defence and who knows he may have a bigger say later;)

We’ll have to get them out sharp this evening, ideally before they get over 350. Then really we need to bat for 2 day, in the best of the conditions. Give our bowlers a break and get north of 500.

As someone who plays cricket I’ve always known when I’ve nicked it tbh. I can’t recall a single instance where I’ve been unsure.
Played for 40 years, I always walked. I just grew up thinking it was the right thing for me to do, but I had no expectation that anyone else would do so.

I can only remember one occasion when I wasn't absolutely sure whether I'd hit it. Mainly because I brayed my foot with the bat and it f***ing knacked.

Aye even in the nets I’d always let the bowler know that I’d edged it as well and would have been out in game. Just felt like the right thing to do.

We’ve walked several times this series we need to stop, make then use a referral at the very least.
Nice guys cum last
Yeah me too played for loads of years all be it at a low level and knew every single time whether nicked it or not
Exactly but the Aussies have always been the kings of skullduggery so we need to be the same if we want to win!

Yeh,it would be naive to walk against the convicts-"when in Rome... ". My point being it would be a finer game if the acceptance of walking was universal.Adam Gilchrist was the only Aussie who walked.

I agree I think all should walk, however they obviously aren’t going too

Honestly think that was a good day for us yesterday. Hopefully can clean them up quickly and our batsmen show they've learned from their mistakes.
