Australia v England, 3rd Test, 16th December , 23.30

Decided to play a quick game of chess during the break, looked up from my laptop when I had finished (lost), and the break was over and we have two wickets.
Should not have muted the TV

2 wickets away from the tail, big session now, if we can get this partnership broken.

Edges not carrying from 90mph balls, lesson to the England batters to play with soft hands.
Well Brook owes 47 runs and counting

Tongue might be off the field Injured.
Root should be given a bowl here
Prior criticising Smith
Swann criticising Jacks.

Prior spot on about Smith, there's no energy from him.

Stokes bowling a good length here pinning Khawaja back, Smith should be coming up to the stumps and rely on his glovework to put the pressure on Khawaja on the back foot
The difference between jacks bowling to tailenders and bowling to actual batsman being brutally exposed here.

Another Ashes series away where we seem to have roughly an agreed upon squad but manage to select the wrong players for the wrong pitches.

Well played

5 wickets and only Weatherald can claim to have got a good ball, Head just fell to a freak catch.
Problem is their tail, Cummins and Starc could do a 100 stand between them.
33 degrees over there and you can see the effort it's taking on the seamers.
We don't want to be bowling in 39 degrees tomorrow

Tongue will do for Cummins
