Simon Adingra 🇨🇮 Signed!

Brilliant news, get him and Mundle a run in the team, wouldn't be surprised if we end up better for it.
It actually sounds like an exciting combo to me.

Balls to all this "he needs to defend" talk, just get them both bombing forward, dribbling past 5 men before rifling one into the corner. Every game. With his boots.

Will have to see how he reacts to this. He may view this as a result of a lack of support from the club in giving him the minutes to prove himself. Still think he needs to look at making a bid for the right side. There are too many options on the left.

Shame for the lad, but great news for us

Mundle and Adingra going to tear the prem up over Christmas 😂

A friend of Amad’s is a friend of mine ;)

Your tone towards the club has undoubtedly shifted negatively like and im curious as to why?

In the latter league one days you were very positive about the club, the model and young players etc. It was the same through the championship aswell for the most part.

Now, in the last 2 weeks alone you've talked about Ghisolfi being a francophile, criticised tge homegrown planning, said RLB is making brain dead decisions for not playing Dan Neil and now you're angling this as the clubs fault.

Really bizarre shift when everything is so positive and the best its been for over a decade. All seems very over the top. The Ghisolfi constant criticism is ridiculous.

Stand by all of those. And tbf I’m not worried one bit about being out of phase with this place. Didn’t criticise the hg planning btw. Just said that the club absolutely needs to think about it in the next few windows as a priority as we are almost at the limit for foreign players. Ghisolfi absolutely needs to show that he can recruit hg players in the coming windows. I’m somewhat concerned that there is absolutely no whispers that they realise this, but totally willing to believe that there’s stuff yet to be revealed.

With specific reference to Adingra I think his purchase was an error - or at least our winger business was confused. We’ve got too many right footed left sided options (and inexplicably tried to add another with Lauriente) and not enough left footed right sided ones. With players costing £20m a time, these errors are not so easy to overlook. They’ll catch up with us quickly if we make too many of them.

Things are undoubtedly going well, but blind trust for the club is not a good idea. They’ve got plenty wrong over the years and we can’t expect perfection. We simply won’t get it. The stakes for errors are magnitudes higher now too. Where years ago this place was FAR too negative when it was clear to see there was a plan, it is now the case that any missteps (and they continue to occur) are dismissed without any thought.

Agree with most of that, didn't mean it to dig you out btw. You're generally one of the most sensible and somebody worth listening to, just have been surprised with some of your takes on it.
