Who are they?! I seem to be getting bombarded with emails & social media alerts. They don’t look like my sort of thing, so not sure how I’ve been targeted cos I’ll not be following them on anything.Just waiting for the presale to go live for Black Stone Cherry this morning.
Hopefully get those sorted but the venue sizes aren’t giving me much hope for general on Friday
They aren’t huge but they usually do 10k arenas or venues.Who are they?! I seem to be getting bombarded with emails & social media alerts. They don’t look like my sort of thing, so not sure how I’ve been targeted cos I’ll not be following them on anything.
Are they a big deal?!
I didn't realise they were even that big. I thought they were an Acadamy/City Hall level band. They aren’t huge but they usually do 10k arenas or venues.
Even as a massive fan of their wouldn’t say they’re a huge deal.
One of those steady away bands who’ve built a presence since they started.
Quite big in the rock scene but don’t have anywhere near the breakout appeal of some of the larger bands
please keep saying modern because it means it’s not actually a 20th anniversary of their first album.I didn't realise they were even that big. I thought they were an Acadamy/City Hall level band.
I'm sure me brother n possibly me dad's been to see them.
I cannot get away with modern rock.
I actually thought about it for a second, and considered calling them 21st Century rock, but I stuck with modern.please keep saying modern because it means it’s not actually a 20th anniversary of their first album.
That sounds amazing. Never heard of them.Went to see Swedish Metal band Sabaton at the Coop Live in Arena in Manchester.
An absolutely staggering performance on a huge scale. If you like big productions you`d love this. The stage was set like a huge Templar castle, there was a smaller sub-stage at the back set as a castle turret with a flaming torch lined bridge that descended from the roof linking the two.
The show had more pyro, bombs and flame throwers than a small war and there were actors appearing on the stage as Napoleon and Julius Cesar amongst others to fit in with the historical aspect of their songs.
The songs are suitably uptempo, grandiose and very, very catchy and uplifting and when they were joined by a choir it was stunning.
The support band was a full orchestra and choir performing classical versions of Sabaton songs. If that didn`t stir the soul then nothing would.
One of the best Rock shows I`ve seen in a long, long time.
Are you sure you haven't just been to the Spinal Tap film?Went to see Swedish Metal band Sabaton at the Coop Live in Arena in Manchester.
