ID checks for away tickets

This is what they'd do. If that was the case, I'd expect them to send an E Mail similar to what was sent out on Friday afternoon to advise that your digital ticket had been de-activated and you had to go to collect your ticket from the ticket office. Don't think it would be fair on people scanning their ticket at say 13:50 on Sunday and not getting in to the ground til say 14:30 etc.
100% agree

Just do what Man City did scan turns red ticket office you go
She did also say season ticket resales is open for this game and the button is now active

No chance they will do that on Sunday mind. The stewards will be asked to make sure people are using the correct cat of ticket, but they won’t be sending people to the ticket office

We’ve managed to get to 30 points, Chelsea, Liverpool and Brighton in the fastest finger lottery of phase 3. We lose 8 points at the end of this season so need a few more to stay in the same position next season, hopefully the novelty will wear off for some and we will be good. It’s been stressful getting tickets so far

Wouldn’t go down well would it let’s be honest, was up roar this year when they fucked a few peoples ticket up.
But on this away ticket thing branches getting so many. Just got a txt asking for me money for spurs away only got 1 ticket he needed a 150 and got 70
is that not just a case of 150 wanting a ticket but only 70 have the points required?

Bit of both mate, be 150 wanting tickets and hel have 150 numbers last time I spoke to him he had atleast 80/90 in phase 1, im not entirely sure if the club capped the branches to x amount per day or per phase

As I understand it, there's a cap on branch applications for each phase. Not certain what it is, but I've heard 45 mentioned (ie 5x9)

Phase 1: Season Ticket Holders with 50+ BCP: Supporters in this Phase are guaranteed a ticket. This phase will run from 12pm Tuesday 2 until 10am Wednesday 3.

This is from the Spurs release. I thought everyone in P1 would be guaranteed a ticket. So not sure this would tie in with a cap. It should make no difference if in a branch?

Branches got capped to stop people complaining, if those individuals on the branches bought there tickets themselves then everyone would be guarenteed the ticket.

There’s an FA Cup tie coming up shortly will everyone who can be attending if at home?
I will be provided it’s somewhere with a big enough allocation. But that’s only going to take me to 18 points so if we do as we have for years in the cup that’ll be that. I lose 6 at the end of the year and then obviously the rest in the following two years. People saying the novelty will wear off, I honestly don’t think it will as we’ve been away for quite a while and last time we’d been cannon fodder in the league for years on end. If we keep progressing it certainly won’t wear off, and even if after a year or two we are dragged into relegation battles everyone under 20 points will by then be on zero and completely frozen out and the 20-25 bracket will also be in trouble as they’ll be back down to around 15 depending on how successful your phase 3 efforts have been. I genuinely cannot fathom why anyone has an issue with the account holder having to use the ticket unless you’re someone going every week that has very few points. Branches shouldn’t be handing out tickets to people with no points. You should have to go on your own account and if you don’t have the points then that’s tough, it’ll bring the points brackets in phases down because there clearly people not going and just chucking their ticket in anyway because it’ll get a point.

I’m on zero black cat points. Went home and away probably from 1998-2010 then family / work commitments and I haven’t been to a great deal of away since then, maybe 50 or so. Got an 18 month old so in no rush to go to aways again until he’s older really, I’m pleased when I was a hardcore home and awayer we got tickets no bother, it must be a right stress on for some people and I totally sympathise, I’m not sure how to get around people buying tickets to flog on and build their points up, it’s nothing I’ve ever considered really, I just bought my ticket and went to the match.

Branches can purchase 40 tickets in one transaction to enable the branch to sit together. If branches require more than 40 tickets they can purchase tickets in the usual way at a maximum of 9 tickets per transaction. Every ticket purchased must have the required points.

Presume this is why not all tickets are available when Phase 1 comes on. This will enable the branches to purchase their 40 in one go to be all together. Presume they are just allocated the 40 then its up to individuals to get any extra required.

Why should some people, who have zero purchase history with the club and zero loyalty points, have legitimate access to away tickets?

The club appear to be clamping down on people sharing their tickets with other fans, but are happy themselves to hand out tickets to people who aren't even sunderland fans .

All staff members need to have a valid customer number

So everyone going to Everton away then?
I was just going to type that lol. could have done with a club closer to London as the trips to Liverpool and Man City almost killed me. 18 hours+ driving, but we will all get tickets no bother. Who will be the first to ask whether this will go to general sale lol
