Honestly this isn’t even a bad take. We should really be encouraging more youngsters to play the sport because recruitment is definitely going to struggle at this rate

Just read that this england team are on track to beat the record in losing the ashes in the fewest days, currently standing at 11 days in the 2003(?) tour that Nasser captained... If we get beat at all in Adelaide we'll eclipse that record

Even when I was at school 20 years ago we never played cricket. The first time I was exposed to the sport was the 2005 Ashes and that was because it was on terrestrial television. Kids these days don’t even have that.

They’re away a long time. They could be smarter about where to avoid these types of pictures because it’ll only backfire on them.

They haven't performed well enough but at the end of the day, they're a group of lads going through a difficult period thousands of miles from home. They have to have downtime and be allowed to enjoy themselves off the pitch.
