That's a shocking set of scores. Add dropping catches and not even going for some in this series and we've gone backwards in pretty all aspects of our game. Quite staggering actually.

Hardly any of them seem to value their wicket. This fixation with ‘backing themselves’ with an approach is arrogant and phenomenally stupid. Let’s not pretend that the cricket is entertaining to watch. You just wait for the next cluster of wickets and fuck ups. It’s predictable dross. Some of the shot decision-making is among the dumbest we’ve ever seen. The odd decent innings papering over the stings of failures isn’t good enough. Teams have worked us out. Just tempt the arrogant fools and they’ll throw the bat.
