Founders bar

Chaotic yesterday, took ages to get served, you pay a premium price for your ticket, and yet they open it up to the general public for nowt. Wish they would ditch the guitarist, too loud, it's a frogging sports bar ffs. People want to talk about the match

Is that after the game mate?

What's it like post-match?
I went for the first time yesterday to escape the weather.

I found it a complete contrast to the previous poster. Didn't think the music was too intrusive (and it's the sort of thing that usually would annoy me), and the bar was busy straight after full time but eased off - second pint I got served straight away.

yes, we stopped back for a few minutes to clap the lads off. We are "refugees" from the old BCB, so I suppose I am comparing it against that. Its OK for a prematch pint, but other than that I find it quite disappointing
Waited 10 mins for 2 guiness in bcb.
Didn't have any guiness glasses left.
I said just put it in any glass but he said he wasn't allowed to.

Had a great day apart from that though.

Noticed how busy it was after the match - do they is usually allow non-founders SC holders in ? Never seen it as busy as that

The bars canny enough but the seats we have are shit on the goal line row 9, I’ll only be staying in there because of the unavailability of season tickets everywhere else unless I can move or change them just to a normal ticket.

Not gonna lie was great doing this today

Intrigued to know how this bar is going and peoples opinions, as a long serving BCB ST holder, we're now 'slumming' it in standard seats.......

But would like to utilise as a treat so it's interesting to read back and see it's now open to anyone after the match.

1) Is this because people have opted not to use after the game? I can imagine this is frustrating for those who have paid full price, as did we when in the BCB and the wrist bands became a bit of a farce.
2) Can we upgrade for a single pre-game access.
3) Do people think this area has generally on the whole been a success, or is it overpriced? Has it been impacted by the bridge/sheepfolds i.e becoming more accessible to alternatives.

Give it a bash after a game n make a decision. We did so, id rather spend the extra £90 or so elsewhere tbh.

Seems stupidly priced, like 76 yards imo

I think we'll do just that....

76 Yards is clearly business corporate in my eyes - quoting the net price (plus VAT) when talking to them early doors. So they set their stall on that one.

Founders, though entry level hospitality for joe public, we tried it last season when we were still in BCB and found it to be decent but pricey. Mostly interested to know if it had been a success to those that paid their extra, or if standards have dropped over time as they did with the BCB while prices rose might I add
