Coventry

Fair play to them, they have started early this year for a change and look unstoppable so far. Looks like they could get over 100 points. It has been good not to play them this season and get back to only rival game that matters.

Wonder if anyone struggling in the PL will take a punt on Frank.
Leeds but I don't think Lampard will leave Coventry
Beat boro 2-4 and now 10 points clear at the top of the championship.

We know how tough that league can be but they look miles better than anyone so far. 12 wins and 4 draws from 17.
They looked terrible 2nd half, if Conway doesn't miss an absolute sitter they probably get beat.
Giving me Ipswich vibes from 2 seasons ago, they look awful yet keep scoring

By a mile the worst we've played under Frank and yet had Conway scored we'd have still likely gone on and scored a couple more.

Still a long, long way to go. Asante likely out injured for a few weeks. Haji Wright the same. Although slightly balanced by having Torp and Rudoni back fit.

Think you'll go the same way we have and overhaul the squad to try and get it to a PL ready level?
Ipswich and Southampton are picking up as well. Be play offs at best for the Bereh.
Ipswich are going up automatically, I have no doubts.

A lot of comments get regularly churned out about who was the better side in the play offs but, as I said on here a few months ago, our outrageous form and goalscoring goes to show what an absolute masterclass is was by Sunderland and RLB in both legs.

We've scored 47 goals since we played in May. In just 17 games.

To further back the point, we've scored 25 goals in 9 away.

As both our seasons continue, it goes to show how much Sunderland deserved it.
They were very competitive games. There was nowt controversial and we scored 3 fair goals over the two legs and you scored two fair goals. I didn't see Coventry creating much more than us either, for all your possession etc. We fully deserved it on that basis.

Turning to this season, it's a long season but you look different gravy to the rest of the league. Leicester were walking it the other year and nearly faltered at the end, but they had much better teams (Leeds, So'ton, and an on-fire Ipswich) breathing down their necks. I think you'll go up comfortably as champions.

Surprised that they managed to keep that squad together. I would have thought Rudoni would have been picked up and Sakamoto.

I don't think it was a RLB masterclass at all. We got outplayed in both legs and were lucky your keeper didn't play well and you missed lots of half chances. Luckily we had something you didn't have though - man mountain Dan Ballard, head and shoulders the best player in both legs.
