South Shields FC 25/26 Thread

South Shields seem to be maintaining their form, while others are dropping points.
I was brought up about 10 miles from Merthyr, so am now following their campaign in the National League North.
Will be coming to the game at SS next March.

Thank you! Nice one - Merthyr are doing really well. Tamworth did similar a couple years ago with consecutive promotions. It’s a tough league but they’re doing really well and can see them finishing in play offs comfortably

Don’t meet requirements for football league based on number of seats / seated stands and I think a couple of other bits but I’m sure we’d look to get the ground to the required standard

Shouldnt think there is anything major apart from some more seats, the problem with the ground is that it is hemmed in by road, factory and metro so space for expansion (car park would be nice) is not available except where the 3G is. While we all love the Arena we did try very hard with the council to get Temple Park back in the 90s which i think would have provided about three times as much land area.

Good win tonight @Bonzo , hopefully I will be able to get to Shields on a weekend when SAFC are playing the same weekend but a different day.

My home town team Slough Town beat Totton 3-2 tonight in ConferenceSouth, good recovery after being 0-2 down at half time.
