Morning all
Cheers everyone for being kind last night in Sunderland, sorry we cut the gig short
Truth be told it was a pretty horrible experience losing my hearing and going into panic in front of 200 people so I really appreciate everyone being kind about it . Had feedback issues before obviously but never had this, it felt like I’d had my brain punched last night
Thankfully I have Woken up feeling fine and doctor is saying it was a thing called acoustic shock that’s temporary and very unlikely any permanent damage has been done
Sorry for everyone who was disappointed last night, we’ll be back as soon as possible
As a safety measure we’ll be playing a stripped down acoustic set of balls to the wall Newton Faulkner in Hebden Bridge tonight

Doors 7pm
Hang Linton 8pm
Newton Faulkner 9pm

I’ve had to sell my tickets for Brogeal tonight and The Lilacs tomorrow due to having a knee operation this morning. I’ll probably also have to try selling my ticket for Seb Lowe on Thursday but I’m hoping to be back on the road for The Lathums in Liverpool next Saturday.
 
A long, long way off, but just got tickets to see Alabama Shakes down in London next July. Think it's their only UK gig scheduled, so imagine tickets won't hang around long.

That’s a shame, get well soon! We are off to the Lilacs tomorrow, the kids favourite band. M60 aren’t supporting now, the Rosadocs are which I’m pleased about they’re a decent little band. Missing Fulham away for this so it best be good!

I have now missed the last three Brogeal tours and support slots with The Lathums and RedRum Club this year for different reasons.I am starting to think that I will never see them again.

Enjoy The Lilacs. 'Grace' is one of favourite recently discovered songs.

My youngest is Grace - the band dedicated the song to her once and she was enamoured for life - they’re lovely lads tbh.
I’ve not heard Brogeal before but will have a listen
