SoL To Undergo Multi-Million-Pound Investment Programme

The screens that were there were in place the last time we were in the premier league, must be at least a decade old. New screens won't make or break a matchday, nothing beats what's happening on the pitch, but it keeps the ground up to date and a big higher definition screen is always going to look better.
Right, didn't feel they were that old, must be thougj

Would be class if they got something similar to the ribbon LED displays that go round the roof of Atletico Madrids stadium.
I was at an Atletico game last season but didn’t see these - I was near the back of the top tier so they weren’t in view, such is the design of the roof. I did go to the Bernabeu Stadium for a stadium tour the day before and the LED screens there are outrageous. They have a continuous screen the whole way round the roof with a 3D effect. While we were there there was a graphic of a dragon-like sea creature which swam around the entire stadium. It was really impressive.

This is my view about the pink seats.

It won’t make a dent in our transfer activity but keeps the place looking fresh and not run-down which summed up the Grayson season.

Some advanced types had transistor radios of course with headphones

They always looked like total anorak knackers to me

Who goes to a match and listens to the wireless etc
I went through a phase - when Samsung Android phones had a built in hardware FM radio - of listening to BBC commentary whilst in my seat in the ground.

Strange fellow I am.

No knob twiddling required for users of such devices I guess. Purely voluntary

Feel like some back in the day had the sticky up bits that could made erect with a bit of a tug

They were fitted some time in 2012 by the looks of it.

Man City, 27th December 2012:
They were done summer 2012 as 1st image below is last game of 2011/12 against Man Utd when we did the Poznan when news came through about Man City's win at QPR  The 2nd image is the 1st home league game in 2012/13 against Liverpool.

Didn't the old ones have clapping hands when we scored? I remember the Jame Brown "I feel good" but I've also got flashbacks of the hands anarl 🤪

The Premier League website has 20 min highlights of games and it's mad watching them back, especially the Liverpool team with Borini, Sterling and Shelvey for example.

Clapping hands at the end of the game. Maybe something on when we scored.

Current ones just shout "bet now!" at you. What a time to be alive.
