Ben Middlemass

Not having a go but needs to run back as fast as he runs forward. See's all the pictures and has a lovely touch and just want him to succeed with us, just worried time is running out.

His mother was fit about 30 years ago

I remember the original Love Island about 20 years ago, the premise was to get c-list celebs pissed on a remote resort and record them having sex. I watched 5 minutes of it, which consisted of her being drunk, crying, because some chap didn't rate her. You could tell even then it was destined to be the global phenomenon it is today.

Who TF didn't rate her?!

He reminds me of Honeyman. Not in his play style necessarily just in that hes playing in a youth team too long and is probably good enough for mid championship to top of league 1 if he keeps working hard
Honeyman has gone on to have a really good career. Middlemas is a different type but I get what you mean. Middlemas and Harrison Jones, in particular are desperate for a league loan, ideally L1 but L2 as a minimum.

Yes. I do think middle championship to top of league 1 is an excellent career. Ive always judged our youth teams by how many professionals they produce rather than how many premier league players. You dont have to be Jordan Henderson to count as a success for a youth programme.

Watched the younguns play Bilbao tonight and this lad looks a real player. I dont watch the juniors much, so I know fairly little about the players, but do those in the know think this young lad has a future here with us in the Premiership?
Lovely footballer but he isn’t going to be a premier league footballer for us. He will be 20/21 now. His best bet is a loan out to league 2 in Jan , do well and move on in the summer when I would guess he is out of contract with a few more options after showing he can do it in the league and then go from there. No shame in that either
