Never been keen on it as a venue. Madness a few years ago was my last time there, has to be someone I really want to see nowJust back from Bastille at Newcastle Arena. Cracking night but that Arena needs pulling down it's not fit for purpose, absolute dump of a venue. Seeing Stereophonics there next month and I've said that's going to be my last at that place, it's just shit
Hate the place. James are playing there next year. One of my favourite bands, but giving it a miss solely because of venue.Just back from Bastille at Newcastle Arena. Good show from BC Lamplight at Boilershop last night as always . Poor turnout mind , reckon the venue was half full .Seen him last time he was there , very good , very entertaining.
Busy night though 3 good gigs same nightGood show from BC Lamplight at Boilershop last night as always . Poor turnout mind , reckon the venue was half full .
Yeah we've got Stereophonics in a few weeks as other venue dates weren't suitable but I've said going forward I'm happy either missing or driving somewhere else for that extra bit of comfort and improvement in acoustics It's ridiculous the North East haven't got an alternative indoor venue of similar capacity.Hate the place. Going to see Hooky on Saturday. Will be first time at Boilershop. Looking forward to it. Heard good reports of the venue.Yeah we've got Stereophonics in a few weeks as other venue dates weren't suitable but I've said going forward I'm happy either missing or driving somewhere else for that extra bit of comfort and improvement in acoustics It's ridiculous the North East haven't got an alternative indoor venue of similar capacity.
Good venue , plenty of space , beer selection is decent as well .Going to see Hooky on Saturday. Will be first time at Boilershop. Looking forward to it. Heard good reports of the venue.
Canny singer but wtf is going on with his face?Just got tickets for Joe Jackson, October next year!
Cheers for head up see Dilettante a couple of times , worth seeing . I was at BC Camplight last night there is a new lass on vocals and guitar .Anyone going to see Field Music tomorrow is advised to get there in time for the support @ 8.00. Dilettante/Francesca Pidgeon. Would think she'll be playing without her band but she's a one-woman band in herself. BC Camplight fans will know her as the leader of his band but I don't think she does that anymore (was she with him at the Boilershop?)
Aye, he's been a bit Madame Tussardsy for a while now, but he's been top notch music wise right through.Canny singer but wtf is going on with his face?
I didn't go, I've been loaded with cold. Seemingly, it's going to be his last tour for quite a while.Good show from BC Lamplight at Boilershop last night as always . Poor turnout mind , reckon the venue was half full .
