Jack Clarke

He’s brilliant used coorectly man defensively sound and scored goals and grafts his nuts off
Brilliant in the Championship used correctly. Won’t be a single PL side aiming for a top 10 finish that would be looking to sign JC.

Maybe Burnley or Leeds will panic buy him in January.

No. We are in a higher market.

Theres a reason only Ipswich wabted him before and I doubt any PL team would go for him if he was available again for that price

People back to slagging players off. Its almost always people who couldn't point to the SOL on a map.
I know where Roker Park used to be though ;)
Why was it mental?
They were about to be promoted. He was getting a massive increase in wages,he fancied himself equal to task
It didn’t work out but he would have been a fool to knock it back. Football is a cruel business and short career and you need to make hay while sun shines as it were.
This incessant sniping at ex players and sneering when the clubs they join come a cropper is really low class

@HitchBerg needs to keep in his lane and worry about his team 11 miles up the road
Calling a Sunderland fan a Mag is a clear sign you haven't a clue what to say in reply because you know you'd lose the argument.
A bit like when someone has genuine concerns about the amount of people seeking asylum by whatever means, the lefties brand them with the r word hoping that will win them the argument, but that one's getting old now and people are seeing through it.

We've already got Fermin Lopez coming in as understudy for Ousmane Dembele when he signs. So don't need any more left wingers thanks.

I agree it’s overstocked. I think Talbi is our best LW. Mundle will probably be fairly level, he also has brilliant defensive ability.

I wouldn’t choose Adingra over Clarke though.

Talbi has the potential to be better than all them IMO.

Adingra im not sure about and I think Mundle was beginning to struggle at times last season so who knows. He has the pace, but he needs to play more regularly than he has to determine if he has the quality and if he can improve.

Given question marks over those three it would be absolutely insane to bring Clarke back, who for me probably doesn't have enough pace/close control and variation to make it in the PL.

If it was a straight choice between Clarke and Adingra then Clarke. But it isn't and we're well stocked in that area with Le Fee performing well and Mundle to return. And I think Talbi is the long term solution there. He's a bit unfortunate really that he had a run of games whilst not playing particularly brilliantly on the right, moved over to the left and has looked really good there in spells but has Le Fee ahead of him who we thought would nail down a central role instead.

Not a chance. Not good enough for our squad now.

Our players are quick and physical which he isn’t.

He was the fastest player we had in the Champ, according to the players. The likes of Isidor and Mayenda aren't exactly slouches, so it's weird that everyone still thinks he's slow.

Maybe it's the stop-start thing he does which confuses people? Either way, Clarke is rapid.

I'd also say on current showing that Clarke would be ahead of Adingra. Did a lot more for us defensively than what Adingra has shown so far, and he'd probably get us a load of free kicks like Grealish does for Everton.

Disagree with that. When Adingra picked up the ball and started running at their full back you could see them backpedaling towards their penalty area, and you could see them doubling up.

I loved him while he was here, but literally no PL fullback worth their salt would be afraid of Jack Clarke. Mags left an aging Trippier to deal with him. I would be more than happy leaving Nordi 1 v 1 with him without needing to double up…
Nordi? I don’t think he would beat Hume

Clarke is not rapid.

He’s not good enough. People need to accept it.
Adingra has been disappointing

I really thought he’d hang about until a bigger club came in, but I guess that wasn’t happening and he took the move when he could.
Never said I blamed the lad, was more shocked that he has no established PL clubs willing to take a punt. Everton, Bournemouth, etc.
