Jack Clarke

I’m ok

I think they (Adingra & Clarke) have equally good defensive work rate, slightly favouriting Clarke.

Going forward I’d choose Clarke every time. They both have the ability to beat a man but we’ve not seen anything from Adingra to suggest he can cut inside and find the bottom corner the way Clarke can.

As I said in the OP, I don’t think it’ll happen anyway. Just a thought exercise.
We definitely haven't seen the best of Adingra, I'm just basing it on attributes. Adingra has sneakily created a few good chances in his limited time here.

And likely down again. Personally I don’t see the yoyo trend ending anytime soon. We’ve had a behemoth window cos we got promoted only spending pennies.

Wolves look chod but Forest and WHU are starting to move up a gear. Leeds and Burnley look like they’ve geared down.

They couldn’t spend like us after spending a bit in their first shot at the league. Ipswich will be the same.
Probably right tbf.

I could see Coventry following our lead, their PSR position must be pretty strong. It's just whether they can buy as well as we have, we had a ridiculously good window.

I think he will come into his own in an attack dominated team. Against the “lesser” sides, when defence is less essential, I think he’ll be fantastic.

So far we’ve been very conservative and certainly not a team built for his qualities. Likewise I hope we see more from him, because than means we’re more on the front foot.
Wouldn't look at a single player in the championship if I'm honest unless there's some under 20 worldy prospect. Fatawa maybe but I'm not 100% convinced

I wouldn’t take him. Not convinced he has the defensive work rate than we need.

Any winger coming into this side has to accept his number 1 job is helping out the full back.

I agree it’s overstocked. I think Talbi is our best LW. Mundle will probably be fairly level, he also has brilliant defensive ability.

I wouldn’t choose Adingra over Clarke though.
Disagree with that. When Adingra picked up the ball and started running at their full back you could see them backpedaling towards their penalty area, and you could see them doubling up.

I loved him while he was here, but literally no PL fullback worth their salt would be afraid of Jack Clarke. Mags left an aging Trippier to deal with him. I would be more than happy leaving Nordi 1 v 1 with him without needing to double up…

Mundle played 20 games max and never in prem I’d take Clarke over both
I'm hoping the surgery sorts Mundle out for good, but if it doesn't then aye fair enough. I think Mundle has more strings to his bow, he's far more likely to go outside his man, but he can cut in and finish like Clarke. He is also much better defensively.

Everyone’s entitled to their opinion, but Clarke tore Fulham a new one in the FA cup.

He’s had quite a few ineffectual games since then though!

I genuinely think he is worse than all of our wingers (including Mundle). Great championship player but doesn’t have enough defining attributes to be successful at this level.
