Bloody hell, on that basis Ian McColl was responsible for Stokoe being able to manage us to the FA Cup win.

I’ve commented on this earlier on the thread but it still rankles me that he continues to claim the glory on this. Saying we were £180m in debt when he arrived was bullshit also. Short paid of the majority before the sale went though.
Speakman was recruited through a sports headhunting agency at the behest of KLD who was attracted to the club by Sartori.
