Forthcoming gigs.

Adult Leisure @ Zerox, Newcastle

What a little banger of a gig, such a shame to see so few people there. Was nice to hear one of my favourite albums of this year, and the band didn't disappoint, they kept that little crowd going throughout the hour-long set. Cracking gig, highly recommended.

Also: £6.75 for a Double Maxim!!!!!!!

Not heard of them yet. I’ll give them a listen on my run today.

😅 Honestly felt like it, until about 5 minutes before they came on stage!
Got to be honest like, that’d have been horrendous. If a band come & say, “aye, we’re coming to your house to play a private gig”, mint. We all know where we stand. If there’s a handful of you at a gig like that, what’s the etiquette?! Clap after every song on your own?! Sing along?!

Where is Xerox, or what did it used to be?
On Newcastle Quayside, over the road to Riverside. Decent little venue, which kinda replaced Think Tank (with the faux dive-bar aesthetic) - used to be Jimmyz Bar

I know, it was starting to get a bit awkward, but the band did really well to make the best of it, and got everyone (all 20ish) involved.

There’s a venue at Ouseburn called Little Buildings, probably holds 50 people.
Saw a pal of mine play there with his band, felt rammed and was a great night, might not have been in a bigger place.
Definitely a place for this size of place 👍🏽 Pop Recs etc

Is that right next to the tanners arms? On the bank that leads down to the Cluny? Canny little venue if it’s the one I’m thinking of

Yep that’s it.
You can get almost as many in the bar than the main room 😂 but there is a live video feed into there 👍🏽

Was supposed to be going to see MONO at Cluny tonight if Sky hadn't pissed about with our match, bit annoying. Ticket going to waste now.

The K's tonight at Fire station, unfortunately im having to drive - wheres best to park thats open late, the old debanhams car park or the one behind the former MnS?
(shows how often I drive to match this, i.e. never!)
