Actually glad you mentioned funding sources. I've been increasingly speculating that we have a huge multi year shirt sponsor lined up for next year to mitigate next year's spending.
How long was the W88 deal? Just a year?

Agreed about the falling out bit - but sorry the financial background of the Louis Dreyfus family is fundamental to this discussion and I'm a bit perplexed that you fail to see it.
Here's a clue - with his family's background, imagine the quality of financial expertise available at KLD's finger tips if required - and that's not to mention the sources of funding that would also be available to him if required.
Yeah. My thoughts is it's a place holder to prove we can stay in the league. With the Dreyfus family contacts and Sartoris own contacts they could secure a solid shirt sponsor and even naming rights for the SOL/academy to generate a substantial revenue streamHow long was the W88 deal? Just a year?

Have to take a quick look at the sarcasm meter.I don’t think so. Just getting the cash in the bank ready to splurge on Jan 1st!
exactly - taking money from the destroyers of our rivers.Worrying
The CFO of the Louis-Dreyfus company is a director here (and was at Marseille for Kyril's dad). How much more expertise do people want?
I think KLD now has a handle on how passionate and what we as a fan base will accept. Granted hes got things wrong before especially the mags game. I would expect any naming of stadium would still incorporate SOL as a nameI don’t like gambling sponsors because of the Havoc gambling can wreak on individuals, but I’m not precious about the stadium name.
If a big company wanted to call it “The x Stadium of Light” then in the main I’d be fine with it.
As an example, the Louis Dreyfus group has 3 ocean vessel companies, Louis Dreyfus Company, Louis Dreyfus Armateurs and Louis Dreyfus Travocean.
If it got renamed “The Travocean Stadium of Light” or “LDC Stadium of Light” then I wouldn’t mind, hopefully the SOL part remains though.

Is it worrying when you get a mortgage on a house?Worrying
This.Seems an awful lot of people are forgetting about the already sky rocketing value of individuals in our team. Of course, nobody wants to lose their best players but we now have a squad full of assets worth a hell of a lot of money.
Roefs and Sadiki in particular will (the way they're going) be £50m+ sales each. Don't feel like im exaggerating at all with either.This.
Roefs
Ballard
Mukiele
Alderete
Sadiki
Le Fee
Each of them all worth tens of millions of pounds
I vaguely remember that being mentioned previously (on here, by you?) and thinking this isn't just a 23 yo bairn and an expensive toy - there's some serious heft involved. The CFO of the Louis-Dreyfus company is a director here (and was at Marseille for Kyril's dad). Your'e definitely not, they'll go for more than 50m, both of themRoefs and Sadiki in particular will (the way they're going) be £50m+ sales each. Don't feel like im exaggerating at all with either.
