Anybody got any idea how much PSR headroom we have left this year if they did want to spend?

She’s right mind. Factoring your receivables is frequently a sign of this.I don't agree.
It was an unnecessarily negative response to a pretty anodyne news story.
I think you may want to read GOM's views.
This. Lad is an absolute knacker who makes stuff up to slur the owner. Don’t believe owt the lad says.Has our promotion finally ended his relentless negativity and agenda against our owners?
Why?Worrying
Only if you don’t understand business!Grim
It’s to cover Sadikis studs.. he’s wearing out 2 sets a game!!!is it not for the players Xmas neet out ?
View media item 14657No one knows whether it's good news or bad news as it all depends, surely, on why we want the money now?

How much is 4 months PL tv payments likely to be?

less alarmist views.
To be fair, it’s nothing to do with how genuine a fan you are. Hocking your future income can be a sign of immediate financial distress. I’m not saying it is here. Let me repeat: I’m not saying it is here.

How could the club be financially distressed? Spurs have done the same and they're one of the best financially ran clubs in the PL.Sure. And it’s probably fine. But it’s equally something that financially distressed companies do

Premium bonds are quite poor investments.Type of guy who thinks putting all your spare cash in premium bonds is sensible.
It’s effectively factoring.Only if it's done regularly and your future income streams are uncertain. In this case, we're simply getting the money earlier than would otherwise be the case. It's a world away from the revolving door of debt factoring.
This isn't factoring
As above.Surely you’re not suggesting we should’ve waited til the PL money is in the bank and spent £150m next summer instead of the one just gone?
Premium bonds are quite poor investments.
My post was simply about not wasting cash.
You'd hope the owner could float cash to cover this type of thing rather than losing it to a bank.
But less money in the clubs bank means less money to spend on players. Not a penny as it is the owner's money, not ours
It’s effectively factoring.
You’re still discounting your receivables. It's not. Factoring is when you sell your debtors for about 75% of value and hope the factors can actually collect (they'll simply hand any bad debts back). Solves one month's cash flow, but you're in the shit if it's a regular arrangement. This is simply getting guaranteed income (we know the PL will stump up) when we need it rather than in four months time.
