Sheff Wed - financial issues

There are but when he bought us there was no reason at all to doubt his abilities to run the club, nor any dodgy history. It's hard to criticise the EFL on that.

I believe there is a ruling that states Hillsborough can't be razed and developed on.

What was the official gate against boro the other night ?

And will you get a massive gate tomorrow?

I believe it was about 7500, Boro sold their allocation of about 3900.

Not sure about massive but it will probably be around 24,000.

would be a fantastic turnout with minimal notice

As someone boycotting my own club due to thinking putting money in the owners pocket is doing more damage than attending as normal, I think it’ll end up good for you will this admin albeit sure there’ll be difficult moments for many concerned until there is a resolution!

Think I read somewhere that there was 7,081 fans in total at Hillsborough the other night although the official attendance was given as 21,578 which was reported on BBC Sport (obviously taking into account the number of tickets sold as opposed to bums on seats / people through the turnstiles).

As a football supporter, it is incredibly sad to see what is happening to Sheffield Wednesday; a brilliant club with a big fanbase and huge potential. I've been to Hillsborough on numerous occasions to watch Sunderland down the years and the experience has always been positive, the locals friendly and the city welcoming. I hope the club can get through this and I really feel for the fans.

My Weds-supporting pals are happy, despite it being weird to feel like that to go into administration.

But rather than this constant stalemate, they can now start charting their future.

Meanwhile, they're the removal of all the seats that spelt out CHANSIRI in the North Stand at Hillsborough.

There is currently nearly 80,000 people watching it. 😃
