Keel Crossing [opened 18.10.25] - compendium thread

So it's not late. BST ends on the last Sunday in October. Glad we've cleared that one up.
Just so I’m clear, are we still in ‘summer’ today and until Sunday? 😉 I went out tonight wearing just a jumper - based on your assurance - and I’m absolutely chilled to my bones after walking home in what my phone says was 7C. (Maybe it missed a ‘1’ off the start by mistake?)

I mean, I almost want to applaud this (still) comedy post for its sheer audacity.

Just having a bit joke my friend.

My opinion means nowt but i was really impressed and was quite pround of it tbh me and the missus go to the sheepfolds most weekends (local)

I just think most of the "town" will get flattened.

I noticed earlier there's a little Italian food stall just next to The Beam. Looked canny and the queue was getting bigger
I'm guessing that it's just one of those things that pops up outside of different offices now and again so will just be there for today rather than a permanent fixture.

I didn't see they were cooking it like that, looks canny. Instead I went to Saints & Sinners for a chip butty and I'm regretting it now!

Lost me new bridge virginity the neet. Took the mutt for a walk over town and back to civilisation. Didn't realise it had a slope on it lengthways.

Honestly went over for the first time today, that part of towns normally empty but was great to see people about even in the wind, need more on the north side but it's going to be class
Walked over on Wednesday lunchtime for the first time. It’s fantastic.

Was really surprised how busy it was mid week. Popped into Sheepfolds for a coffee but there was a big queue and I didn’t fancy waiting 20 mins. Propa was stowed off too.

It’s improved the walk to the stadium from town massively, not just because it’s quicker. It’s just better. Everything around the stadium feels premier league again. The painting of the roof is complete up to the south stand now, the new club shop, Quinn’s bar, founders bar, 76 yards.

The family memorial is my favourite part of the stadium though. It’s what the club is all about, the people, and the heaven branch have done a great job looking after it. The hand painted rocks brought a tear to my eye.

There’s a sense of pride around the place again and the bridge has been a massive part of the regeneration. There’s still plenty left to come too judging by the number of builders and plant still on site.
