No afraid not. One of the few tho. I sometimes feel I've tried everything.Anyone got an experience with Duloxetine?
About 15 years ago.Anyone got an experience with Duloxetine?
f***ing brilliant seeing things like this and Andys Man Club. Mens mental health has been such a neglected topic for so long that it's great seeing people starting to feel like they can be more open about it.You must be logged on to see external links
I think i tried that for a short period but side effects were bad so got told to stop taking them, i think i was taking them the same time as SertralineAnyone got an experience with Duloxetine?
What side effects did you get?I think i tried that for a short period but side effects were bad so got told to stop taking them, i think i was taking them the same time as Sertraline
Headaches, dizziness, aches and pains, unable to sleep, lethargic and makes you too relaxed that you just ly on bed doing nothing, i didn't like that feeling, i think i had a slight cough aswellWhat side effects did you get?
Have you replaced it with something else?Headaches, dizziness, aches and pains, unable to sleep, lethargic and makes you too relaxed that you just ly on bed doing nothing, i didn't like that feeling, i think i had a slight cough aswell
No, i was prescribed with loads of different tablets and also propranolol when i felt an anxiety come on and just take one. I just didn't like how i felt on them confusion and memory loss, still get that now sometimes, i've learned how to control it now. Years ago i had a head scan and went to see a specialist about blood levels and thyroid and what could cause it and depression , i was very low on Vit D so had to go on tablets for a few months and felt a bit better afterwards.Have you replaced it with something else
I forgot to say when i was on it i i was told to take it different times, i can't remember which i did first but was told to take it in mornings and before bedHave you replaced it with something else?
They absolutely suck like. Any sun you can get out in, even if it's cold, is worth it in my opinion. These dark nights make me feel even more hopeless than usual
I feel like a proper lazy bastard when winter comes around like. Get out of bed on the morning at the last possible minute to get to work. All I want to do is just lie about in the dark. They absolutely suck like. Any sun you can get out in, even if it's cold, is worth it in my opinion.
Have you tried them light boxes? Also worth trying vitamin d. Nearly everyone in northern Europe is deficient anyway.I feel like a proper lazy bastard when winter comes around like. I've seen them aye but I don't know how much it would help. It's not a seasonal thing for me anyway, just gets worse in the winter. Been on SSRIs for basically a decade at this point.Have you tried them light boxes? Also worth trying vitamin d. Nearly everyone in northern Europe is deficient anyway.
I'm sure you'll find something soon mate.My other strategy is to get a week away to the canaries in the winter but having no job at the minute could make that tricky.
Fair point. I'm not sure how much is physical and how much is mental with me. Or how much the two overlapI've seen them aye but I don't know how much it would help. It's not a seasonal thing for me anyway, just gets worse in the winter. Been on SSRIs for basically a decade at this point.
Some people swear by them - worth a go I suppose.
Cheers budI'm sure you'll find something soon mate.
I studied psychology at university and we had a renowned doctor for our abnormal psychology module.Fair point. I'm not sure how much is physical and how much is mental with me. Or how much the two overlap

After more discussions with my AI, I'll be getting my light box outI studied psychology at university and we had a renowned doctor for our abnormal psychology module.
He was a really really clever bloke, if not a bit of a tosser, but he reckoned depression is a manifestation of physical sickness. Interesting read if you're stuck on the pot for 15 minutes
