Forthcoming gigs.

Francis Rossi at the FireStation tomorrow night after the match.
Really looking forward to it .

Quo were first band I saw live - March 3rd 1976, Blue for you tour.
Shanghai the support act.
Quo were brilliant.
Very few artists can make a living. Sunderland has so much going on that some gigs don't sell as well. It's the same in Newcastle often. If we want to see negatives we can. Personally I see the massive positives. Compare Sunderland for music ten years ago. The improvement is immense.

Funnily enough, sitting in pub before The Skids last week, I posed the question as to whether Jobson would be wealthy having been at it since 79.
My mate pointed out Lemmy had little more than a pot to piss in when he passed, and when you think of all the songs he penned for others, plus all the albums and live gigs he did, it's unbelievable to think he wasn't wealthy.

wasn't going to go but just got a ticket for new model army at manchester on sunday. would've liked to have gone to see them at edinburgh tomorrow but don't think i'd have got there in time after the match.
also, the stranglers at the city hall next tuesday.

Next weekend is busy.
The commitments (a showing of the film then Robert Arkins band) Friday. Chelsea away Saturday. Rianne Downey at Wax and Beans in bury Sunday and Benson Boone with the youngest on Monday: bit gutted really as benson boon clashes with both The clause at wax’s and Dave Giles in town

Not going to believe this - got in from the match and I fell asleep - woke up and missed the Rossi gig - furious with myself (hadn't even had a drink I just felt knackered when I got in)
