The 2026 FA Cup šŸ†

More Parka coats than a mods convention.

They don’t travel well and never forget there is only one STFC and it’s not the Welsh One (they get wound up by the Welsh tag)
šŸ˜‚ Think we have a good chance. Both Sunderland and Newcastle don’t play that day too so should be 4,000 there. Can’t wait already.

Saturday Shields vs Shrewsbury then Sunderland vs Everton the Monday

Gets underway this weekend with the extra preliminary round launching this years competition.

Who do you fancy to win it this season?

How far will SAFC get?

Outside bet (non premier league club) to make the semi finals or better?

Special none SAFC fa cup memory from your childhood?

Spurs
4th round
Wrexham
Sutton United beating Coventry and watching the highlights on MOTD
MOTD - Colchester 3 up against Leeds before hanging on to beat Revie's side 3-2.

Remember a bonkers game from the early noughties. Spurs were 3-0 up at half time but 10 men Man City under Keegan came back & won 4-3 despite being down to 10 men due to a Joey Barton red card.

Bobby Stokes Southampton v Man U was an early memory.
I was in the Southampton end that day, age 11. It was standing in those days and was absolutely mental.

Hoping Chatham Town make it to 3rd round and get drawn at home to us. Closest ground to any of my houses.

It was a genuine iconic FA Cup moment.

True story, one the Manila Mackems is from Hereford and his dad was and of the people that ran on the pitch when Ronnie Radford scored.

One of the most iconic moments of the FACup and here we are with the new sanitised version with lack of importance and no replays.
Semi Finals should not be at Wembley and I could go on.

The best Cup in the World and has been ruined by greed.
